Updating oldies

I have found a folder with a whole bunch of letters I made in the past. Some of them are actually quite good! *grin* So I started to update these oldies. I will send them through my group, which can be found here. When I’m totally done with updating them, I will put them up for download here as well.

Skins

As everyone probably knows, it’s possible to change skins in IncrediMail Premium. A couple of years ago the only skins you could get, were made by IM itself and they weren’t really a blast. It was nice to be able to change IM’s look, but it wasn’t fantastic or anything.
After a while some very clever people found a way to adjust those skins the way they really wanted them to look. Those skins weren’t as goos as IM’s, but it certainly was great to find some really new stuff on the Internet.

Very soon IM realised that this skin-business was populair and created the Skin Creator. Just like working with the Letter Creator the user was now able to make his own skins. Too bad the Skin Creator was more difficult than the Letter Creator and the explanation IM gave wasn’t very helpful either.

A while ago I doscovered some great places on the Internet to learn how to use Skin Creator, what certainly needs attention when making a skin and what is not done. I really fell in love with the Skin Creator and I’m playing around with it to see how some ideas turn out. When I’m statisfied with the Skins I’m able to make, I will certainly put them up here!

Well, I have just added the first IncrediMail Letters for download. In the menu on the right there’s the page called IncrediMail, where you find the link to download this program if you don’t have it yet. Underneath this page there are subpages, named after the category of letters that can be found there. To download a letter, just click on the example. Enjoy!
